Orange Donut with Gold Leaf – Original Miniature Oil Painting

Some things are too good for plain paper.

A warm, swirling orange donut — painted in rich, textured impasto oils with concentric rings of glaze that pull the eye inward like a spiral galaxy — set against a border of genuine gold leaf that catches the light and refuses to be ignored.

Crystals are scattered across the surface like planets in orbit, each one catching the light differently depending on where you stand. The center draws you in. The gold holds you there.

Orange Donut with Gold Leaf is a meditation on the sacred hiding inside the ordinary. On the way a simple thing, when truly seen, becomes something luminous.

For the ones who know that everything deserves to be gilded, at least once.
