Plain Cake Donut with Chocolate Glaze and Sprinkles – Original Miniature Oil Painting

She started out plain. Then she got dressed.

The same humble cake donut I know and love — but this time she showed up in a rich, dark chocolate glaze scattered with rainbow sprinkles, like she couldn't quite commit to being understated.

Honestly? I respect it.

Plain Cake Donut with Chocolate Glaze and Sprinkles is painted in rich, textured oils with visible impasto brushwork that makes every sprinkle pop. The soft neutral background lets her take center stage — and she absolutely does.

For the ones who start simple and can't help adding a little color.
