A Shadow Portrait is not a likeness. It is a revelation. Working from a deep consultation about your inner world, your unlived life, your recurring dreams and patterns, Carol paints the self that lives beneath the surface — in oil on canvas, embellished with Preciosa Maxima crystals that catch the light the way the unconscious catches us off guard.

This is not a portrait of who you appear to be. It is a portrait of who you are becoming.

The $650 deposit reserves a one-day hold on the calendar and is applied toward your total commission price. All details, sizing, and final pricing are confirmed during your consultation.

How it works:

1. Pay your deposit — secures a one-day hold on the calendar
2. Consultation — Carol reaches out to schedule a consultation — by phone, Zoom, or WhatsApp for international clients — to explore your inner world and discuss imagery, palette, size, and vision. A firm total price is agreed upon.
3. Confirmed on the calendar — once details and payments are finalized, your date is locked in
4. Balance paid in full — remaining balance is invoiced and paid before work begins
5. Carol paints — your Shadow Portrait is brought to life in oils and Preciosa Maxima crystals on canvas
6. Photo sign-off — you receive photos of the finished piece and approve before shipping
7. Any extras settled — additional requests are invoiced and paid before shipment
8. Ships to you 🖤
